Are you interested in raising sheep and/or goats but don't know where to start?
The Mid-Atlantic region is home to many large existing farms as well as a growing number of farmettes and smaller parcels of land. No matter how many acres, sheep and/or goats are a natural fit for our area. In many cases, they can be added to cows, horses, llamas, alpacas or other livestock you may already have.
More and more we are asked to share our experience, education, and general knowledge with people who are eager to learn more about raising sheep and goats.
We now offer a full range of consulting services that takes into consideration your budget, personal preferences, goals, and available labor.

With a combined 50 years of experience, we offer hands on training for a multitude of flock management tasks. We will work with you, at your farm, with your flock.
We offer practical everyday hands on training in:
- Internal & External Parasite Control
- Foot Trimming
- Shearing
- Administrating Medications and Health Products
- Sheep Handling
- Humane Docking and Castration
- Animal Identification
- Record Keeping
- Ram Selection
- Replacement Selection & Evaluation
- Animal Identification

Our services range from answering questions on the how-to's to working up full management plans. In today's world our schedules are busier than ever. And although all of us wish we had the time to research and read up on all that we need to know... many times it is more effective and efficient to ask for help. We offer assistance to those wanting to know what and how to do it!
We offer management consulting and education in areas such as:
- Grazing and Pasture Management
- Fencing and Predator Control
- Breed Selection
- Purchasing and Hauling
- General Flock Management
- Nutrition
- Health Maintenance Schedules
- Planned Matings
- Marketing
If you are interested in any of the above services, please contact us either by e-mail or by phone. We would be happy to set up an appointment to discuss your needs.
