LAMBS DUE LATE JANUARY 2012!

News and Updates

1.1.12

After years of neglect, we have decided to revamp our web site. Although, little as been done with the site, a lot has been happening on the farm. Over the next couple of months we will be bringing our flock information current as well as adding new sections for the show goats, show rabbits, and purebred chickens. We will also be updating and adding all our inventory of fine meats to Virginia Lamb & Meats website.

Stay tune for lots of exciting news, photos, and livestock sales.

Tie

8.26.11

With almost all of our lambs, except those being shown, going to Virginia Lamb & Meats, our flock was starting to show some age. Three years ago, we made the decision to cut our meat sales in half and put back a majority of our ewe lambs back into the flock. We now have some fantastic lambs, yearling ewes, and two year olds entering the flock. With that kind of female power we were looking for powerhouse whether sire. This year our entire flock will be bred to Tie -- a very correct, tremendously thick ram with Slack breeding on both sides. Given the pedigrees currently in our flock, he should niche well making show winning wethers and ewe lambs.

We will begin lambing in late January -- if you are interested in show lambs, please contact us early as we will only be selling the very best.
