This is a big, powerful, massive ram that is very three dimensional. He has the length of body, big top, and hip shape that we strive for plus a thick, deep leg. Scooby is as complete as they come.
Scooby's grandsire, Big Time, has sired numerous champions at the Mid West Stud Ram Sale and throughout the west coast for the Bianchi family. Big Time is sired by Cabaniss "Two" and is line bred back to the Miller Time ram, that has impacted the Cabaniss flock with both sons and daughters.

We lucked into Keota through J.D. Stucker. This ram, bred by Ted Greiner, is as complete as they come and has a pedigree as deep. Keota is extra long, jack fronted, big racked, very level out over his hip, and carries a full leg down low into the lower 1/3. Simply put, he is a fault free ram that can be used on just about any ewe!
His sire is Ted's top home bred ram, Rising Son, who is sired by Edge, the record selling ram bred by Nothdurft's. If that isn't deep enough... Edge is sired by Intense, the Cabaniss bred Supreme Champion ram that sold for $23,500 (a sale record) at the 2001 Mid-West Stud Ram Sale.
Keota's dam is sired by the Texas legend, Bodacious, who was bred by Harrell & Rhodes. Every Bodacious daughter in Ted's flock is super thick, big hipped, and made to be a market momma.

No, we aren't crazy about his blood test... but YES, HE'S THAT GOOD! He is the biggest hipped, biggest butted ram we have ever owned. Maximus is a really stout, big boned buck that has both his sire's muscle mass and hip shape. The minute we saw this ram, we knew we had to own him. (Good thing it was our anniversary... how could Corey say no!)
Maximus is a son of Spot, the Johnson ram that has done so well for Brad and Jeff Ellerbrock. Spot is the sire of the 2005 Illinois Grand & Reserve Grand Champion, 2004 Indiana and Illinois State Fair Grand Champions as well as the Grand Champion Market Lamb at Eastern Nationals and the Reserve Champion Land of Lincoln 2004 Illinois State Fair. Spot's sire, Grand Slam, has more champions than can be counted including the Grand Champion Lamb at the 2002 NAILE in Louisville, KY.
And his dam is out of Elmo. Elmo sired numerous champions throughout the country including Grand Champion Lambs at the 1999 & 2000 Indiana State Fair, Grand Champion at the 2000 Illinois State Fair, and Reserve Grand Champion at the 2002 Wisconsin State Fair.

This was an exceptionally complete sheep. Stunner was extremely long bodied and big topped. In addition, he had the much desired rib shape and pin bone set that we have been looking for.
Stunner was to be Hindman's keeper ram lamb a couple years back. It wasn't until Mike was able to purchase the lead ram in the 2002 McIlrath Production Sale that he decided to sell him. Stunner is sired by Ozzy, a Jigsaw son owned by Hindman Show Lambs in Albia, Iowa. His dam is a Tuff daughter. Tuff is a Train son currently co-owned by Mike Hindman and Vince McGolden.
We have kept back several daughters and used two sons in our breeding program, Draft Pick and Chaos (pictured left).

We were very pleased with the offspring of this stylish ram bred by the Ott Family in Fairview, Oklahoma. Jazz was beautiful in his profile, measured high in percent hindsaddle, and was very level hipped. Jazz was a long bodied, tight fronted, extreme ram that had the "look" to make winners. He was the Ott's top ram lamb prospect out of their 2000 bred ewe lambs.
Jazz is an Excel son out of a Hero daughter. Hero is one of the country's premier sires, producing champions at such shows as American Royal, Louisville, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Kansas, and MidWest. Jazz is also a linebred grandson of Train, the great McGolden/Ott sire bred by Harrell and Rhoads of Indiahoma, Oklahoma.
We bred Jazz fairly heavy in 2002. And boy did we like what we saw! He sired some of the most explosive racks we have ever seen here at Cornerstone Club Lambs. They were all long bodied, handle exceptionally well, and had style to spare! He was the sire of both the Top Selling Wether and our Top Selling Ewe Lamb in the 2003 Eastern Elite Club Lamb Sale.
By design, Jazz was used primarily as a terminal sire and we have very few daugthers of him in the flock. But those few are awesome! His legacy will continue on through his son, Locco.

In 2000, we had the opportunity to purchase the lead yearling ram of Matt Nichols in Abilene, Kansas. He is sired by Trump, and is double bred Shell 212 / Hickman 50. He was a tremendously long hindsaddled, tight fronted, excellent topped ram that had bone, style, and plenty of muscle.
We have several mature ewes sired by Blue Print that are simply tremendous with a beautiful pattern and design. Every one of them has extra frame size, length of body, and a big, wide, impressive top that is uniform in width from rack to pins. It's as if you laid a 2x6 down their top! And they are all fast becoming our favorite ewes.

Mac Daddy was the Supreme Champion Wether Sire at the 1999 Eastern Stud Ram Sale and was bred by Duane Sickels of Winchester, Indiana. Mac Daddy is sired by McGolden 399, who is sired by Conspiracy Theory and out of one of Vince McGolden's top ewes, Shania.
He possessed exceptional size, style, and muscle. He stamped all of his lambs with grooves down their top and tons of expression in that lower rear leg. He was a wether making machine, and unfortunately we only have a few daughters in the flock. They have all produced outstanding offspring and cross exceptionally well with Blue Print.

We purchased this ram sight-unseen in 1998 from Don Swanton of Goose Lake, Iowa. The moment we saw him, we knew we had gotten more than our money's worth. Virginia Ice was a thin hided, attractive, ultra thick ram. His lambs consistently exhibited hard handling, deep tops with well defined expression of muscle down through the leg.
Among other champions, Virginia Ice sired the 1999 Frederick County Grand Champion Market Lamb. This same lamb also won Grand Champion Carcass with an impressive loin eye measurement of 4.0.
Half of our ewe flock now goes back to Virginia Ice through daughters or granddaughters.
