Over the years we have given top priority to cultivating our ewe flock. We have built our flock around sound, productive ewes that breed true, time and again. Below is a cross section of ewe families that are the heart of our registered program. Most are young ewes that will be continuing on the legacy of their dams and grand dams.
You will notice that most of the pictures are of ewes right out of the field after rough shearing in the spring. Many have recently had lambs weaned off and are not necessarily in peak condition. Our ewes are maintained on pasture year round with the exception of being grain feed for two weeks prior to breeding season and again during lactation. They are seldom babied and must prove to be easy keepers in both conditioning and maintenance.

This ewe is every bit her father's daughter. She is exceptionally long, showing uniform depth of rib without being one gutted. She has a HUGE top that goes back to a big square hip.
108 is out of 9503 and is the maternal sister of both Oreo and Cheerio. Although she has always been a difficult ewe to picture, she is easily one of our best Blue Print daughters and will rival her sisters as she continues to mature.
She is the dam of:
- 2003 High Selling Wether at the Eastern Elite Sale by Phat Cat
- 2003 Keeper Ewe Lamb sired by Phat Cat
- 2004 Top Selling Wether at the Eastern Elite Sale by Stunner
- 2005 1st and 2nd Top Selling Wethers at the Eastern Elite Sale by Scooby
- 2005 Res Champion Heavy Weight, Maryland Preview Show by Scooby
- 2006 Quads by Maximus. Cool little female to be shown at the VA State Fair

What do you say about a ewe that is from a maternal family this strong. She has what it takes to be the best daughter of 9503 ever... and yet, proving herself above and beyond her maternal sisters will be no easy task. 214 has the length and correctness of Oreo, the hip shape and lower leg of Cheerio, and the massive top and loin of 108.
With 9503, Oreo, and Cheerio all gone now, we will be counting on her to carry on the family legacy. (To find out more about this great ewe family visit our Foundation Ewes page.)
She is the dam of:
- 2004 Keeper Ewe Lamb sired by Blue Print
- 2004 Strong Seller at the VA Bred Ewe Sale by Blue Print
- 2005 Eastern Elite Entry by Scooby
- 2005 3rd Place Wether at VA State Fair by Scooby
- 2006 Keeper Ewe Lamb and Wether Sold to PA by Keota

We purchased this ewe lamb's mother at the 2001 Virginia Bred Ewe Sale with high hopes of getting a white pelted, massively muscled, registered ram lamb out of her. Although she has always given us daughters, we can hardly be upset!
3M is a fancy ewe with muscle to spare! She has a big, square top and hip that is so typical of the Blue Print daughters.
She is the dam of:
- 2005 Really Cool Lamb Hung Himself
- 2006 Tremendous Ram Lamb (RRNN) sired by Chaos (pictured right)

There are three traits this ewe family passes to all their lambs -- length of hindsaddle, stylish front ends, and... a "catch me if you can" attitude! Just one look and you'll know why we tolerate their flightiness.
Although we have very few ewes out of this maternal line, 111 will catch your attention in a crowd every time. She is exceptionally long bodied, good topped, and a very upfronted, pretty profiling sheep.
She is the dam of:
- 2003 Keeper Ewe Lamb by Stunner (Who then dammed the Second High Selling Ewe in the 2005 Eastern Elite Sale)
- 2003 Class Winning Wether at Clarke County Fair by Stunner
- 2004 Sold Wether in Eastern Elite to Maryland / Kids Showed Other Wether by Kid Rock
- 2005 Keeper Buck Lamb, Draft Pick (pictured left) by Stunner
- 2006 Two Really Nice Wethers by Chaos
One to be Shown in WV, the Other in VA (pictured right)
